In the last 20 years, what's the longest you've gone without touching a guitar? If you do ever take a break from touring, composing, recording, sideman gigs (and it sure doesn't seem like you do) where do you like to go to wind down, just as a tourist? It seems like you've been everywhere.

i can go a month or two without playing easy. after that, a certain physical atrophy starts in that is a drag. i like to hang out in upstate new york and in new york city where i live. i also like south florida and italy. it's always great to go back out to missouri, especially in the summertime.
