Pat, are you and your group aware of the awsome and profound spell that Roots of Coincidence, cast on your audience, in particular the Seattle Opera House Feb19? As that piece faded no one wanted to break the spell. There was silence. But, of course, then came ] the ovation. I was screaming Bravo! from the second balcony.Please include Roots in your next Seattle show in July at the Pier! On the downtown waterfront, the Pier is a spectacular venue! I'll see you there! Bravo!!!!!

"roots" was an interesting tune to play all year - and it was really fun to watch the various crowds reactions that it met during the tour. they ranged from wildly enthusiastic to mildly confused and everything along the way. as the year went on and more people were familiar with the record, the general reaction to the new tunes was better. that is pretty normal, it seems like it always takes a while for people to learn the new stuff.
