Thanks for so many years of wonderful music. I've been fortunate enough to have seen you perform live a number of times over the years, and as much as I enjoy the PMG shows, it's the tours for the "special projects" like 80/81, Shadows and Light, and Parallel Realities that hold special value simply because these tours feature lineups and setlists that are assembled just for those occasions. Sadly, it seems that the flipside of this is that I may never hear one of my favorite tunes, "Everyday I Thank You" played live. I was wondering if in fact you've ever played this beautiful composition in a live setting?

i am happy you like that one - i did have the chance to play that piece quite a bit over the past few years with mike brecker on two tours. it is hard for me to imagine playing that tune with anyone but him. we never made it to sacramento, but maybe we will one day - i love playing with mike and i am sure we will continue to do things now and then over the years.
