Franksexton- Yes, being a music teacher myself, I thought that was interesting that those 3 finalists were all music teachers. Congratulations to your daughter’s choir director!

Anybody catch JT on this evening’s Jeopardy? The category was "His Life & Music," and James gave all the video clues. Leave it to the only female contestant to know that Harrison wrote his famous love song after being inspired by Taylor’s "Something in the Way She Moves." (Both songs have the same opening line.)

i would venture that most people don’t even know who Pat is. We, on the other hand, probably know who played the
drums on every release Par has ever made.

mugsy, many of those dorks wouldn’t know that Ringo plays the drums, or what band McCartney was in before Wings. (mole said on a show a while back all three contestants didn’t know who George Harrison was. Sheesh.) I think Alex is hipper than half the contestants he has on, save those like Austin Rogers, especially since he does extensive prepping on all the clues and works to get down his pronunciation of all those Quetzalcoatl-esque words. I wonder if Pat watches Jeopardy....

Naut - My feelings exactly! I really couldn’t believe that they (the three contestants) didn’t know Antonio plays the drums! Most people (I thought) at least heard about Birdman - if not seen it.

Yeah, Isn’t It a Pity. Someone will know the question to "It’s the name of the smallest protozoa on a sea barnacle at the bottom of the Mariana Trench" but they never know Pat or Antonio. Heaven forbid Alex should give a clue about McLaughlin or Corea. Contestants would freeze in their boots, thinking "where’s James Holzhauer when we need him?!"
