This year I saw 46 bands live in the Chicago area at seven different venues. Once again my favorite show was Pat Metheny Side-Eye with Joe Dyson and James Francies. In 2019 the version with Marcus Gilmore and James Francies was my favorite show. I saw many other great shows this year, but PM S-E was the clear winner. |

I am surprised nobody has responded to this post. I know several people here caught Side-Eye in 2021. My last show
was on Thursday 12/30 and Side-Eye still was the best show for me.
