To see my son stand up for a standing ovation was an extraordinary special moment. Now that I am in the same age range than Pat and listen to his music since 1982 I must say that concerts lately have a melancholic effect on me. With every final note I wish there would be another final note. Pat’s music is part of my life's soundtrack and it feels sad that opportunities like this feel numbered. The lesson is to seize the moment and celebrate that occasions like this are still available. The concert ended with "Wichita Lineman", another hauntingly beautiful staple of American culture. |

Amen! I went to this show with my son too, after seeing many shows myself over the years in different
configurations. We were blown away. It’s great to make his shows a family affair!
