Occasionally, forces intersect to create a powerful entity. Such forces met last year in December, when jazz greats Gary Burton, Chick Corea, Pat Metheny, Dave Holland, and Roy Haynes met to record Gary's latest, "Like Minds."
The third release for Gary on Concord, Like Minds features the music of Metheny, Corea, Burton, and one composition by George Gershwin ("Soon"). The album includes three new compositions: "Elucidation" (Metheny), "Futures" (Corea), and "Like Minds" (Burton).
