I enjoyed your cover on the Hendrix tribute album a few years ago. Have you and Lyle considered doing an album of covers/interpretations of your favorite pop/rock/etc tunes? Maybe another Hendrix, maybe "That's The Way Of The World"? That EW&F tune is one of my all-time faves, and I'd love to hear it done with the Metheny/Mays twist and even some Synclavier. I guess I was intrigued by the DID lists in the liner notes of WLH.

i doubt if (with the group) we would ever do a record of covers. it seems like we have so much of our own stuff to do that we would never get to that. for me, i tend to like the originals of most pop tunes better than any covers anyway, especially instrumental versions of them.
