| Question: | Along with the solo piano at the beginning of track 8 on Map of the World, I hear a hissing sound followed by a click that occurs three times in succession. Is this a part of the music or do I have a bad CD? If these sounds are delibrate, do you care to elaborate? |

hi keith, i think when you see the movie you will understand what those sounds are. there are obviously a lot of sound effects on the record that are components of the score and i felt like it would weird to rob the music of its context within the movie and the story. if you listen on headphones you will hear that these are quite intentional. |
